The American company Georgia Pacific was founded in Atlanta (Georgia), in 1927 and began the production of vinyl panels, known in Russia as American siding.
The products are ASTM D3679 standard certified, as well as ASTM D6864 and ASTM D7251 certified for color retention and original appearance.
American siding installation
The siding of the American company Georgia Pacific is 3.66 m long and 0.23 m wide, and the width of the spotlights with the same length is 0.305 m. As you can see, the dimensions of the panels differ little from domestic ones, therefore their installation remains the same.
When installing insulation, be sure to close the base, because the cold will spread upwards from the uninsulated lower part of the wall.
Thus, the effect of warming will be incomplete. When making a hole in the wall through mineral wool, you may encounter the fact that it will wrap around the drill.
To prevent this from happening – use a piece of tube with a diameter of a couple of millimeters greater than the thickness of the drill. Place it through the insulation against the wall and drill through it.
