With the advent of the first warm days, barbecue on the grill becomes the main goal of all people tired of winter. And everyone runs to shops and buy expensive devices for preparing such abundance. No one even thought that to make a grown with your own hands. The question also arises of how to make your own barbecue. This requires only the head and hands, and of course small costs.
The first cases will inspect the territory on which you will install the barbecue. Consider not only the place where you are going to relax, but also the direction of the wind. Agree, it will be sincerely sorry if your food flies away. Install a barbecue for a summer residence at home – this is my advice.
Let’s proceed to the first part of the construction of the barbecue for cottages.
one. Prepare material and tools.
Do not rush to run to expensive stores and buy materials. Look around, the improvised material will be quite suitable for building a barbecue with your own hands. Seeing a photo of a brick barbecue on a magazine or the Internet, everyone will think: “I can build such a thing too”. And you will be right. The brick structure is not complicated. You will need brick, cement, sand, gravel. Glue and ceramic tiles will be needed with a mangala decor with your own hands.
2. We start work: brick barbecue.
We plan a plot for the future barbecue and dig 2 ditches with a depth of 25cm. The reinforcement is placed there and poured with concrete on top, 15 cm with a layer. Wait for concrete will dry before installing the base. The base of the mangala with your own hands from the brick has three compartments. 2 serve to store firewood, and one use as a cabinet. Build the walls on the foundation. When laying brick, shift the joints to add stiffness and strength.
For the vault and upper walls we use light cellular concrete. We also make the bottom of the hearth concrete. The height of the installation of the frying grill is adjustable using the side shelves, which are protrusions.
We install the pipe on the support columns. The pipe is also made of cellular concrete. We build it in such a way that she narrows to the top. Such a pipe is covered with a special-supervision composition. We galvanize the arch on top.
Around the hearth of our barbecue we lay out the floor. It is best to pre -pour sand into the places of the future sex. Close the seams with cement mortar. Can be covered with tiles.
So that the weather does not spoil your rest, it is better to cover a barbecue in the country with a canopy. It is done quite simply. Install 4 supports. It can be ordinary wooden pillars. Choose them in accordance with your growth. We dig pits for them, pour concrete. Actually, a wooden canopy is attached to these supports. You can also cover it with tiles or sheets of tin. Do not forget to make a cornice along the edge of a canopy for water stack.
Of course, many people know that barbecues are made not only from brick. Forged barbecues to most people. They can be taken out to any place for cooking, and then carried away to the barn.
Of course forged barbecue not everyone can afford. I offer such people a simpler option.
We make a frame: steel corners with a shelf of 20-30 mm are suitable. It can be made both by the national team (using screws), and to cook tightly. Since the bottom experiences higher temperatures than the walls, it should be made of thicker material. Do not go out for the size of the frame. Only heat -resistant paint. And better than black, she at least somehow repels the heat of coals.
Of course, there are many ways to make a cheap brazier with your own hands. Here is one of the most original: for this we need a 50 liter barrel. Collect a barrel rack. It is better to make it from steel tubes cooked among themselves. With three incisions, we make the opening cover on the likeness of the bread. In the part that will be from below, we make small blunt holes. The supporting structure itself can be buried and poured with concrete. You can also focus tips, thereby making the barbecue portable. Actually fasten the grill inside the barrel. It is better not to weld it to the barrel, since it is much more difficult to wash. An example of such a barbecue can be seen in the figure.
