Last summer, I was faced with the question of replacing the old heating system. I decided to change one simple reason. The heating system is morally obsolete and did not allow the house to effectively and economically heat. Naturally, I wanted to get by as low as possible financial expenses, but at the same time buy only high -quality components.
I have my own house, so there were no restrictions.
I started by choosing a water supply material for the heating system. Metal pipes, as an option, I threw back several reasons at once. Firstly, there is no way to carry out welding work inside the house. Secondly, work with metal pipes is extremely complex and laborious. Well, thirdly, I initially decided to do all the work myself, but I do not own gas welding. In general, I gathered all the price lists at work in a bunch and began to engage in “scientific work”. Task, honestly, not easy. One brand has cheap pipes, and fittings cost crazy money, the other on the contrary – the pipe is expensive, the fittings are cheap.

In short, after thinking and talking with familiar experts in this field, I stopped my choice on multi -layer (plastic+aluminum foil inside the plastic) Pipe Ecoplastics Street. Why? A few reasons.

I probably chose the most common two -pipe system with forced water circulation. This is when two pipes are in parallel from the heating boiler. One pipe supplies water to the radiators and is called “feed”, the second returns it back, t. E “Return”. I chose this particular system, too, for good reason. With such a wiring of the heating system, I can adjust the heat transfer of each radiator separately. This is done using ordinary or thermostatic radiator cranes. It is very comfortable. For example, you can set a different air temperature in different rooms without changing the water temperature in the heating system. In the bedroom, experts recommend setting a temperature of 18-20 degrees. At this temperature, it is very comfortable to sleep. In the living room, the temperature should be 22-24 degrees. Here someone is more familiar. Someone loves to walk in shorts at home, and someone in a warm robe.
The next step is to calculate the quantity and the choice of various fittings for connecting all this design together. I will say right away, no matter how I tried to take everything into account, still I had to buy the missing details several times. You can’t spend everything at once, and besides, I first did all this myself. In general, after buying a pipe, tees, adapters, gearboxes, all sorts of MRNs, MRVNOV, clamps, soldering iron, a special knife to remove the upper layer of the pipe before soldering, I experienced real horror. I looked at this mountain of the Undercondments incomprehensible to me and thought – how I solder all this?!
But the horror quickly passed and even changed some kind, I would say to the excitement as soon as I began to slowly bring to life a drawn heating scheme. But about that tomorrow.
