The use of beacons for alignment of walls is a new word in the preparation of surfaces in the repair work!
Very often, when you need to make repairs, it turns out that the walls of your apartment only resemble a flat surface.
In fact, they simply need to be put in order with the help of plaster. But before giving the walls a decent look of a little less or less, they should be carefully prepared for this.
So that the layer of plaster on the vertical wall turns out to be as smooth as possible, it is best to apply the plaster on the beacons.
What does it mean to sly wall?
With such an interesting term, the male-storage rooms are called the installation of the beacons for applying plaster. The lighthouse is a vertically located brand on the wall. The future plane of the wall, which should appear after plaster work, is marked by a net from such lighthouses. In the process, it is precisely these marks that the master will focus.

As a rule, the beacons for leveling the walls are installed in such a way that the distance is 10 centimeters less than the size of the fifth, which the master defends the solution. Installation of landmarks according to this scheme will make the work more convenient and comfortable.
Advice. If the plaster does not have rich experience in such work, then the beacons should be placed as often as possible. This will allow you to get a more accurate plane after completion of work.
Application of plaster on beacons: Basic rules.
It is necessary to constantly control the thickness of the plaster applied to the wall.
If there are deep bugrs and pits on the wall, you need to apply plaster several times.
Use a special perforated steel profile for plaster to align the walls.
To get a flat surface, use a loaf of a galvanized profile as a supporting guide base. Install it vertically, next to the beacons.
Advice. In internal plastering work, a 6 mm profile is most often used. It is used for gypsum plaster mixtures. For cement plaster mixtures, choose a larger profile.
Pour the solution with large areas (1-2 kV. m.) and yell with a half -terrible from top to bottom.
Correct the thickness of the mixture correctly.
Usually, the beach profile after the completion of the plastering is left in the wall; but, if the room is wet, removed to avoid the appearance of rust on the wallpaper in the future. You need to do this before the plaster has not hardened.
