Feng Shui in the kitchen
As Eastern Feng Shui Philosophy says, the correctly planned interior of the room allows you to achieve the harmony of a person with the environment to increase good luck and success in all matters. The organization of external living space is directly related to the internal state of a person. In the house, energy is constantly circulating, which has a positive or, conversely, negative effect on a person. When organizing space, Feng Shui is trying to accumulate good energy, create energy and psychological comfort for the inhabitants of the house.
Applying the principles of Feng Shuya in your kitchen, you must, firstly, consider its location relative to the entire apartment. Ideally, the kitchen should be located in the southern part of the house. The northern direction is considered the most unfavorable. It is very fashionable to unite the kitchen as a place of cooking, with a dining room and even a living room in a single ensemble, which is unsuccessful from the point of view of Feng Shuya. Since, the smaller the smells from the cooking zone penetrate the living rooms, the healthier the energy will be. Therefore, it is recommended to isolate the kitchen from other rooms and arrange it, if possible, in the back of the house. The kitchen is considered unfavorable near the entrance to the apartment or next to the bathroom. This will mean a slight loss and loss of wealth, which symbolizes food.
Since all objects have their own energy, Feng Shui devotes great importance in the kitchen to form, material, color. Glass and metal in the interior do not contribute to the qualitative absorption of food, but on the contrary, they bear uncomfortable sensations at a subconscious level.
Furning furniture made of wood – oak, pine, ash, maple fuel with positive energy. The shape of the table should be round or oval. Multilevel kitchen violates the integrity of space.
Feng Shui recommends getting rid of old unnecessary furniture, as it carries a negative stagnant energy. For the same reason, you need to prevent disorder on the shelves, in the cabinets. Unused things should not create a mobile for circulation of favorable energy.
All sharp and stitching objects should be stored in closed places so that their sharp corners do not give birth to negative energy.
The plate, as an element of the elements of fire, should not be placed next to the refrigerator and sink – symbols of the elements of water. The symbolizing well -being of the family should be contained in perfect cleanliness. There should not be stale products in the refrigerator, and dirty dishes in the sink should not be in the sink.
If you plan to hang a mirror in the kitchen, it is better to do it in the part where the family is going. This contributes to prosperity. For the same purpose – attracting appropriate energy – Fenglass experts advise hanging pictures with the image of fruits, fertility over the dining table.
Preferred colors for the kitchen are yellow (color of the sun, abundance), green (color of update, nature), white (color of purity, freshness). It is not recommended to decorate the room in blue, blue, red colors. Since these are the colors of the elements of water and fire, which are most pronounced in the kitchen, and their excessive predominance can violate the balance of the atmosphere of Feng Shuya.
